The video, shot from the wing, gives a first-person view of what happened, showing the plane losing altitude and the pilot narrowly missing power lines and street signs on Seventh Street, south of Missouri Avenue, on April 12.

According to FlightAware, the plane took off at 2:08 p.m. from Hangar Haciendas Airport, a private airport in Laveen.

Michael Tragarz said he was flying with two friends when he had to make an emergency landing after experiencing engine trouble.

Tragarz said the plane lost power and there was smoke coming from the cockpit.

Phoenix Fire Capt. D.J. Lee told Arizona’s Family that all three people involved had only minor injuries. None were hospitalized.
