PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is dead after a shooting at an apartment complex in midtown Phoenix early Monday morning.

At about 12:30 a.m., police were called out to the “Collins off Colter” apartment complex near 16th and Colter streets, just north of Camelback Road. Police arrived and found a 58-year-old man who had been shot.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. His name has not yet been released.
The suspect is on the loose and has not been identified, police said.
