Police said the 15-year-old stole his brother’s Jeep for a ride with friends.

But the fun ended when he plowed through an electrical box, barely missed a house and ended up stopping on a cement block in the area of 239 Avenue and Antelope Trail, southwest of Interstate 10 and Watson Road, just before 3 a.m.

One passenger had minor injuries.

Utility crews arrived and restored power.

Police said the driver was arrested on charges of reckless driving, criminal damage, hit-and-run and unlawful use of a vehicle.
