TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – An Arizona man is facing charges for sexually abusing a minor over an eight-year period.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said 34-year-old Earlson Yazzie, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, engaged in and caused sexual contact with a minor from July 2018 until August 2025.
Yazzie faces 9 counts of abusive sexual contact with a minor, and if convicted, could face life in prison.
Yazzie’s trial has not been set yet.
This case is part of the Project Safe Childhood, an initiative that aims to combat child sexual exploitation.
