MIAMI, AZ (AZFamily) — A new wildfire shut down part of U.S. 60 east of the Valley on Monday.

The Henderson Fire was spotted sometime in the afternoon. The flames forced the closure of the highway a few miles west of Miami, near Pinto Valley Mine Road.
Around 5:30 p.m., officials reopened one lane in each directions. The highway was fully reopened by 7:30 p.m.
The fire has burned about 10 acres in the Tonto National Forest and is spreading moderately, officials said.
Multiple crews from the U.S. Forest Service are on the scene, with more departments responding.

There’s no word on what sparked the flames or whether they are threatening any buildings.
