First, standout Brayden Burries was drafted 10th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks. He was projected to be a top 12 lottery pick in the draft, which runs through Wednesday.
Burries is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound guard from California. He averaged 16.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in his first and only season in Tucson.
He was a big reason the Wildcats had a long run in the NCAA tournament before losing to eventual champion Michigan in the Final Four.
And the NBA wasn’t done with the Wildcats.
The Dallas Mavericks selected Koa Peat at No. 30, the final pick of the first round. But he was quickly traded and ended up with the Phoenix Suns.
Peat, a 6-foot-7, 245-pound forward from Chandler, averaged 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game last season.
On Wednesday, Jaden Bradley, Tobe Awaka, and Anthony Dell’Orso could hear their names called during the second round.
