TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The main story will be the HOT temperatures through Thursday, with high temperatures 5-9 degrees above normal and highs topping out between 104-111 degrees.

The Extreme Heat Warning has now been extended through Thursday. Major HeatRisk is expected in the warning area, which includes the Tucson Metro, San Pedro River Valley, the Upper Gila River Valley and eastern Pinal County.

Today – Sunny and hot, with a high near 108. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 6 to 11 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.
Tonight – Mostly clear, with a low around 79. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light north northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.
