ATLANTA (ANF/Gray News) – A high school teacher in Georgia accused of sexually abusing students was potentially blackmailed by students who discovered her OnlyFans account to get a better grade.
Maris Nichols, a 25-year-old teacher at Alexander High School, allegedly had sex with a student twice.
According to a search warrant, the student then blackmailed her with knowledge of her OnlyFans account to get a better grade.
Previous arrest warrants said Nichols had sex with a student twice — once on April 23 inside a schoolroom closet and once on May 2 inside a car. But the new warrants reveal she allegedly had sex with a different student on May 3 and also sent inappropriate pictures and videos to several other victims.

Investigators say inappropriate messages were sent from Nichols’ phone to several other students, including a video of the teacher having sex with a student while wearing a sweater that says “Jesus loves you.”
Footage of those sexual encounters started to circulate among several students.
Police say some of those same students allegedly tried to use it as an opportunity to blackmail Nichols for a better grade with the threat that they would leak videos of the teacher’s OnlyFans account.
It’s unclear whether any students will face charges of blackmail.
Nichols faces one count of tampering with evidence, two counts of child molestation, four counts of improper sexual contact by an employee and four counts of grooming of a minor.
