TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – An Excessive Heat Warning is in place for Tucson and sounding communities 11 AM Today through 8 PM Tomorrow. Temps are expected to reach near 110, with 108 our projected high.
Models continue to throw some token moisture our way for tomorrow and Thursday. While temps will be slightly reduced, might see some clouds to the east in Cochise county. There are some radar echoes on which appear for tomorrow and Thursday…suspect this will belong to virga.
Temps relax a touch over the weekend with a pop of winds. Settling near our Seasonal averages by Monday.

Today – Sunny and hot, with a high near 109. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 6 to 11 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.
Tonight – Mostly clear, with a low around 78. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light north northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.

Thursday – Sunny and hot, with a high near 108. Light and variable wind becoming west 8 to 13 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.
