Firefighters arrived on the scene of the fire near 12th and Irvington about 9:00 a.m. and found flames coming from the roof and behind a commercial building.
The TFD says the roof collapsed over one of the four businesses. It did not collapse on the fire crews.
Once crews confirmed no one was in the building, firefighters took a defensive attack against the fire.
