Troopers said the girl was driving the ATV at a high speed before making a left turn onto Buck Creek Road and the vehicle overturned.

She was ejected and the ATV then landed on top of her, Oklahoma troopers said.

A passenger who was also traveling with the girl was not injured in the crash.

Authorities noted that none of the occupants of the ATV were wearing seat belts.
