TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – On June 11, Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue was called for the rescue of a hiker in the Miller area.

The hiker called 911 and reported that he was stranded on a cliffside, dehydrated, and without access to water.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety Air Rescue Ranger 2 was called for the rescue, along with a three-person hasty team and additional SAR team members.
CCSO SAR said Ranger 2 was able to locate the man.
Crews evaluated the man and determined that transportation to the hospital was not necessary.
