Los Angeles Councilwoman Nithya Raman will advance to the runoff election and face current incumbent mayor Karen Bass.
Raman currently has 28.5% of the vote, Pratt has 25.8% of the vote and Bass got 34.3% of the vote. NBC reported.
Pratt decided to run for mayor of Los Angeles after he lost his home in the Palisades fire last year.

Republicans have alleged that the reason Pratt lost the election was due to fraud.
“It’s clear, California is incapable of running free and fair elections consistent with our Constitution that guarantees a republican form of government for states,” Arizona GOP Congressman Abe Hamadeh wrote on X. “Federalize the election.”
President Donald Trump shared Hamadeh’s post on Truth Social and captioned it, “No way this could have happened. Rigged Election!”
