Stretch of triple digit heat continues this weekend

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Hot temperatures will stick around this weekend, with afternoon highs near to slightly above the seasonal average. Mornings will start off cool, then warm quickly into the triple digits by the afternoon. The heat looks to continue through the rest of the weekend and into the upcoming work week.

Afternoon winds are also expected, with a southwesterly breeze and occasional gusts.

Today – Sunny, with a high near 102. Light and variable wind becoming west northwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Tonight – Mostly clear, with a low around 71. West wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light and variable.

Sunday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 100. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 9 to 14 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.
