TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Tucson Police arrested a man who now faces charges that include kidnapping, domestic violence aggravated assault, sexual abuse and animal abuse.

Ricardo Perez was ordered held on a bond of$162,500 for the charges that span a two month period.
One interim complaint alleging aggravated assault impeding the airway and kidnapping states that on March 22, Perez picked up a woman with whom he was in an intimate relationship.
She told police Perez accused her of cheating on him and threw her phone out of the car window.
The document shows Perez grabbed her by the neck when she tried to get out of the vehicle and tried to hit her head against the steering wheel.
The interim complaint adds the woman had marks on her neck consistent with being strangled.
A second interim complaint states the woman was staying at Perez’s house May 4 when he hit her face and body and tried to strangle her over a two hour span.
The document shows when she was able to leave the house, the woman used FaceTime to call her work manager and explained what happened.
She took pictures and video of her injuries.
A third interim complaint accuses Perez of aggravated assault impeding airway, kidnapping, animal abuse and sexual abuse.
The interim complaint states that, on May 30, Perez and the woman got into a verbal argument over his belief she was cheating on him.
As she tried to leave the room, the interim complaint states Perez grabbed her by the hair and pulled her back onto the bed.

He is also accused of punching her in the face and then getting on top of her with one, and then both hands on her throat.
The document shows the woman told police she could not breathe and felt like she was in a dreamlike state.
When she went into the bathroom, the document shows the woman noticed red marks on her neck and took pictures of her injuries.
Perez is accused of assaulting her a few hours later and preventing her from leaving the bedroom by grabbing her hair.
Perez is also accused of punching the woman in the face, causing her nose to bleed and threatening to kill her.
The interim complaint states Perez then kicked and slapped her dog when it tried to protect her.
A fourth interim complaint shows that on June 1, the woman called 911 to report Perez posted naked pictures of her on his social media account.
The document shows the account’s profile picture shows a male who matches Perez’s likeness and tattoos.
The document states one of the postings tagged the woman’s social media account.
His next court appearance is scheduled for June 15.
