PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two people are recovering in the hospital after being shot inside a mall in Maryvale Tuesday night, according to officials with the Phoenix Police Department.

The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. at Desert Sky Mall, at 75th Avenue and Thomas Road, and police said officers are still securing the scene.
One victim has serious injuries while the other has injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said.
Officers detained multiple people as they cleared the mall, investigators said. However, none of them is the shooter.
