TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department wants to alert people in the Vail area of a bear sighting.

The PCSD says deputies are looking for a bear cub seen this morning, June 2, near homes in the area of East Windswept Way and South Shalom Drive in Vail.
AZ Game & Fish Department has been notified.
Anyone who has seen the bear cub is asked to call 911.
The alert comes a day after 13 News reporter Payton May reported on an increase in bear sightings in the Green Valley area.
