TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – It has been four months since Nancy Guthrie vanished from her Catalina Foothills home, with no sign of her and no suspect identified.

While the public may think the case has gone cold, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos says there is plenty of work being done.
“It moves at a snail’s pace, I guess for some,” Nanos told 13 News in May. “But for my investigative team, and for me, we look at this as, no, this is doing exactly what we need it to do.”
Sheriff Nanos also told 13 News at the 100 day mark of the search for Nancy Guthrie that DNA testing takes time, and asked the public for patience.

The emotional toll the search has taken on the Guthrie family, which includes NBC Today Show host Savannah Guthrie, has been evident in videos shared to social media.
The videos include pleas to whoever took Nancy to show proof of life and the offer of a reward of up to $1 million.
