TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Residents in a Tucson neighborhood woke up Saturday morning to find multiple cars vandalized along their street.<\/p>\n

The incident happened near North Fairview Avenue and West Prince Road, where nearly all cars parked along Tuttle Avenue had shattered windows or what appeared to be bullet holes in the glass.<\/p>\n

Michael Hunter said a neighbor knocked on his door to alert him that his yellow Mustang\u2019s window had been completely shattered.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome to find out that almost everybody on the block\u2019s window had been apparently shot by a BB gun,\u201d Hunter said.<\/p>\n

Neighbors said they believe the vandalism happened sometime late Friday night or early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t exactly know what happened. One neighbor said they heard gun shots last night,\u201d Nicole Bermudez said.<\/p>\n

Bermudez said she called 911 as soon as her neighbor alerted her to the damage. Tucson Police Department arrived around two and a half hours later and began taking reports.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t really think there\u2019s much they can do because there isn\u2019t evidence, footage so it seems like a dead end,\u201d Bermudez said.<\/p>\n

TPD confirmed they responded to the scene to take the report, but said they don\u2019t have any updates with the case.<\/p>\n

Hunter, who is retired and on a fixed income, said the damage is a financial burden.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m retired so, you know, I\u2019m on social security, fixed income, it\u2019s gonna put me out,\u201d Hunter said.<\/p>\n

He expects repairs to cost around $400.<\/p>\n

Bermudez said she plans to go through her insurance to get the damage covered.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf not then somebody decided to vandalize all of our cars and now it\u2019s our responsibility to fix our property and that\u2019s not right,\u201d Bermudez said.<\/p>\n

Bermudez said she\u2019s always felt safe in the neighborhood, but the incident is making her question her and her children\u2019s safety.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if this will become like a regular thing if it\u2019s someone who thought that they got away and they\u2019re gonna come back down the neighborhood, go after our tires next, go through other windows, try and break into our houses, I don\u2019t know,\u201d Bermudez said.<\/p>\n

Hunter said he plans to change his routine.<\/p>\n

\u201cNormally I park my car up the street. I put it on the street last night. And there you have it, it won\u2019t be on the street again,\u201d Hunter said.<\/p>\n

Some neighbors said they plan to install surveillance cameras on the outside of their houses to be prepared with evidence if something like this happens again.<\/p>\n
