LAS VEGAS (FOX5) \u2014 The death of an inmate at High Desert State Prison has been ruled a homicide, the Clark County coroner said.<\/p>\n

The coroner\u2019s office said 38-year-old Jonathan Latorre died of multiple stab wounds. The Nevada Department of Corrections said Latorre was pronounced dead on May 8.<\/p>\n

Corrections officials said Latorre was serving a four- to 10-year sentence for possessing a stolen credit card and attempted lewdness with a child.<\/p>\n
