TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – At least one home was struck by gunfire during a party involving juveniles and young adults in Sahuarita early Sunday, May 17.<\/p>\n

The Sahuarita Police Department said it happened at a home in the 400 block of East Calle Escora, which is near South La Villita Road and South Rancho Sahuarita Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The SPD said officers were called to the area early Sunday about \u201cloud commotion and possible foot and vehicle traffic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two officers arrived and said they saw a large gathering involving juveniles and young adults.<\/p>\n

The SPD said the officer thought the loud noises were from firecrackers, but investigators later learned one of the homes was struck by a bullet.<\/p>\n

Detectives are investigating and asking homeowners for any security video they may have of the incident.<\/p>\n

The SPD said anyone involved could be charged with aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm in the town limits, and endangerment.<\/p>\n
