{"id":552,"date":"2026-05-19T23:33:30","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T23:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=552"},"modified":"2026-05-19T23:33:30","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T23:33:30","slug":"glendale-woman-indicted-on-accusations-of-running-illegal-botox-cosmetic-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=552","title":{"rendered":"Glendale woman indicted on accusations of running illegal Botox cosmetic business"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<section>\n<p><b>GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A grand jury has indicted a Glendale woman for allegedly running an illegal Botox cosmetic business without proper licensing.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=550\">Mosque shooters met online and left writings expressing hate, FBI says<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced that Sayde Shea Holladay, 28, was indicted on charges of fraudulent schemes and artifices, unlawful practice of medicine and sale or transfer of prescription-only drugs, all felonies. <\/p>\n<p>Officials allege that Holladay\u2019s business, SlimSlays LLC, offered cosmetic injectables, including Botox and dermal fillers, even though she did not have proper licensing to perform the procedures. Holladay has reportedly marketed her business on social media since 2024, posting videos and photos of herself injecting clients with Botox and other fillers.<\/p>\n<p>Between Jan. 1 and April 28, the attorney general\u2019s office says Holladay obtained money, business or customers through \u201cfraudulent pretenses,\u201d failing to disclose that she wasn\u2019t a licensed medical provider.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, she reportedly did not have a licensed provider to authorize the prescription-only drugs or have a state-licensed medical director overseeing the business.<\/p>\n<p>Holladay is accused of selling or transferring semaglutide and Botulinum toxin, both prescription-only drugs, without authorization. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=548\">8 hikers stung by bee swarm at Camelback Mountain in Phoenix<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Botulinum toxin is the prescription-only drug that is commonly used for Botox procedures but could cause serious side effects like problems swallowing, speaking or breathing. Semaglutide is commonly marketed as Ozempic and Wegovy.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigators, Botox procedures require certification as a registered nurse or advanced practice registered nurse. The treatment also requires the supervision of a licensed practitioner who has medical or surgical training.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona\u2019s Family previously spoke with an anonymous customer who got filler and Botox done by Holladay.
