TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Arizona Attorney General\u2019s Office said a Pima County woman was sentenced for selling drugs and landmines.<\/p>\n

Attorney General Kris Mayes said Christina Eileen Gonzalez was sentenced to 14 1\/2 years after pleading guilty to attempted transportation of drugs for sale, attempted money laundering, and conducting an illegal enterprise.<\/p>\n

Mayes said that Gonzalez was selling cocaine, fentanyl, meth, a firearm, and \u201cBouncing Betty\u201d land mines. The mines are German-made and from the World War II era. <\/p>\n

\u201cArizonans deserve to be safe in their communities, and my office will not tolerate criminal enterprises that flood our streets with deadly drugs and weapons,\u201d said Attorney General Mayes. \u201cGonzalez will now spend 14 1\/2 years in prison for her crimes. My office is grateful to the Arizona Department of Public Safety for their outstanding work on this investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n
