PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 It\u2019s almost \u201cBo Time\u201d for Arizona diners who are eager for Bojangles\u2019 fried chicken and biscuits.<\/p>\n

The North Carolina-based fast-food chain is opening its first location in Arizona on July 20. Doors at 3765 S. Val Vista Drive in Gilbert will open to the public at 5 a.m.<\/p>\n

The restaurant had delayed its grand opening to put finishing touches on its restaurant and \u201censure we\u2019re delivering the best possible experience for our guests from day one,\u201d a spokesperson told Arizona\u2019s Family.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re anticipating 1,000 to 1,500 customers on opening day. <\/p>\n

The Gilbert location is expected to employ between 60 and 70 people.<\/p>\n

Bojangles announced in 2024 that it would be opening 20 new restaurants in the Phoenix area as part of its westward expansion. The chain is also planning to open a new location in Avondale within the next year.<\/p>\n

The expansion is being led by the LVP Restaurant Group, LLC, with Kingsbarn Realty Capital as the real estate developer.<\/p>\n

Bojangles opened its first restaurant in 1977 in North Carolina and has grown to have nearly 800 restaurants in 17 states.<\/p>\n
