LAS VEGAS (FOX5) \u2014 A Las Vegas man was arrested after police say he purchased stolen merchandise and resold it through online platforms.<\/p>\n

On March 28, detectives from the LVMPD Organized Retail Crimes Section began an operation at various retail stores to identify, detain, and arrest individuals attempting to steal high-value merchandise. <\/p>\n

During the investigation, detectives identified a person purchasing the stolen items, later identified as 49-year-old Roberto Fuentes.<\/p>\n

The investigation revealed that Fuentes would purchase the stolen merchandise and resell the items through various online platforms.<\/p>\n

On May 7, detectives served a search warrant at Fuentes\u2019 residence in the 2300 block of Decosta Circle. During the search, detectives located more than 900 items, including stolen jewelry, watches, tools, handbags, purses, clothing and accessories, high-end sunglasses, fragrance, cosmetics, alcohol and toys.<\/p>\n

ORGANIZED RETAIL CRIME ARREST!<\/p>\n

On March 28, 2026, LVMPD Organized Retail Crime (ORC) detectives launched an operation targeting individuals stealing high-value merchandise from retail stores. Detectives identified 49-year-old Roberto Fuentes, who was purchasing stolen items and\u2026 pic.twitter.com\/sROGfB3V2a<\/p>\n

Loss prevention partners from the Nevada Organized Retail Crimes Association assisted with an itemized inventory of the recovered merchandise totaling over $418,000.<\/p>\n

Fuentes was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of participating in an organized retail crime theft ring involving more than $10,000, and buying, possessing, receiving stolen property valued at more than $100,000.<\/p>\n
