GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A day after Arizona\u2019s Family spoke with residents frustrated over broken air conditioning, state officials are now demanding action from management of a West Valley apartment complex. <\/p>\n

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes sent a formal letter Wednesday to Asset Living, LLC and Spectra West Apartments in Glendale demanding that the complex repair A\/C systems. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe are in the middle of extreme summer heat with temperatures climbing to over 110 degrees across the metro-Phoenix area,\u201d said Attorney General Mayes. \u201cIt is unacceptable for residents to be without proper cooling in this dangerous weather.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mayes\u2019 letter cited news coverage and consumer reports that indicated most, if not all, residences at the complex do not have functioning A\/C, and indoor temperatures are reaching 100 degrees. <\/p>\n

Arizona\u2019s Family spoke with several residents Tuesday who were frustrated over the high indoor temperatures and lack of maintenance. <\/p>\n
