(Gray News) – President Donald Trump called Iran \u201ccuckoo\u201d and warned that the United States is preparing for another night of strikes against the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ll agree on everything, and then they\u2019ll go and have a news conference and say we never even talked about it. They\u2019re cuckoo. There\u2019s something wrong with these people, and for 47 years they\u2019ve been the bully of the Middle East, and they\u2019re not the bully anymore,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n

Trump said the ceasefire was \u201cover\u201d after Iran attacked American military sites. He threatened to strike Iran\u2019s civilian infrastructure, including power and desalination plants, and to seize Kharg Island, according to the Associated Press.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hit them very hard last night,\u201d Trump said. \u201cWe\u2019ll probably hit them hard again tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump said the strikes were in continued retaliation for Iranian attacks on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n

Trump made the remarks in Ankara, Turkey, on the sidelines of a NATO summit.<\/p>\n
