PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 It won\u2019t be easier for a man accused of shooting and killing his wife in the West Valley to get out of jail before trial.<\/p>\n

A Maricopa County judge denied Robert Marin\u2019s request to lower his $2 million cash-only bond.<\/p>\n

Police said Robert Marin lured his wife, Heather Marin, to the couple\u2019s Waddell home in March and shot her multiple times. Heather\u2019s family said her youngest daughter witnessed the shooting and heard her mother begging for her life.<\/p>\n

Police said they found Robert Marin inside the garage and took him into custody.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never thought it would go this far,\u201d Heather\u2019s brother, Aaroon Cooley, said. \u201cThere was a history of abuse dating back over a decade.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooley said he feared a drop or change in bond would put the family and others at risk.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a danger to my family, me \u2026 maybe the rest of the family, neighbors, people who have seen what he did,\u201d Cooley said.<\/p>\n

The bond drop request came the same week Heather\u2019s daughter graduated from high school, a milestone the family says is now overshadowed.<\/p>\n
