(13 News) &#8211; For the second straight summer, <i><u><b>Mount Lemmon has been placed under Stage 3 water restrictions.<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=3222\">Pima County trails stay open during extreme heat despite recent hiker deaths<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It will impact how much water residents and businesses on the mountain can use each month, and what they can use the available water for. It could also affect services available to visitors, like public restrooms.<\/p>\n<p>Stage 3 restrictions are called whenever the district\u2019s water storage level or water source production is 25-50% of capacity for at least 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>According to the district, the following uses of water are prohibited.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Watering any plants<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Washing vehicles<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Using water for dust mitigation or any construction use<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Any outdoor cleaning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Drip irrigation or misting systems of any kind<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Filling of storage tanks, spas, fountains, or ornamental pools<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <i><u><b>Mount Lemmon Domestic Water Improvement District<\/b><\/u><\/i> said each resident will be allotted 2,400 gallons of water per month. If customers do not comply with the restrictions, their services could be cut off.<\/p>\n<p>The district said people using less than 2,400 gallons per month are being asked to reduce as much as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=3220\">Lawsuit accuses DHS of revealing confidential asylum claims to Iranian government<\/a><\/p>\n<p>When there were Stage 3 restrictions <i><u><b>at the end of 2023<\/b><\/u><\/i>, there were several things that were prohibited.
