TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – We\u2019re kicking off the Fourth of July weekend with partly sunny skies and above average temperatures this afternoon. Temperatures dip a bit on Independence Day\u2014still warmer than normal\u2014with more cloud cover expected. Dry conditions continue, and warm temperatures should hold through scheduled firework displays.<\/p>\n

A gradual warming trend builds into the start of the work week, with extreme heat returning. No watches or warnings are in place right now, but we\u2019ll be the first to alert you if that changes.
