PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A female inmate tried to escape Wednesday at a Phoenix hospital with a traditional ruse, but it didn\u2019t go the way she planned.<\/p>\n

It happened at the Valleywise Health Medical Center at 24th and Roosevelt streets.<\/p>\n

The woman asked to use the restroom and tried to escape by climbing into the ceiling, the Maricopa County Sheriff\u2019s Office said.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear how far she made it, but the sheriff\u2019s office later said she was found between two walls. She was rescued and medically examined.<\/p>\n

Her name and the charges she faces have not been released.<\/p>\n
