TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A member of the Tohono O\u2019odham Nation was sentenced to federal prison for child sex crimes.<\/p>\n

The Department of Justice said 37-year-old Ski Redfeather Johnson was sentenced to more than 28 years in prison after admitting to four counts of abusive sexual contact with a minor.<\/p>\n

Johnson, of San Xavier, admitted to engaging in abusive sexual contact with four different minor victims at homes where he was living on the Tohono O\u2019odham Nation. It happened from 2015 to 2020, and all the victims were under 12 years old.<\/p>\n

\u201cSki Redfeather Johnson repeatedly preyed upon and stole the innocence of four children,\u201d said U.S. Attorney Timothy Courchaine. \u201cThis 28-year sentence reflects the relentless work of FBI Special Agents and Tohono O\u2019odham Nation Tribal Police officers dedicated to protecting these children and bringing their perpetrator to justice.\u201d<\/p>\n
