TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – After a day of elevated fire threats the Red Flag Warning has expired. Still, breezy winds, dry air, and hot temperatures will linger into Monday. That keeps fire danger elevated\u2014just not critical enough right now to warrant a warning. If conditions change, we\u2019ll be the first to alert you.<\/p>\n

Temperatures dip slightly below the seasonal average to start the work week, where we might even get a break from triple digits for one day. Breezy and gusty winds will also remain throughout the afternoons. Then, as high pressure rebuilds ahead of the Fourth of July weekend, highs climb back to above average. Moisture may try to increase late week, leading to more cloud cover, but for now we\u2019re staying dry in the 7-day forecast.<\/p>\n
