TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The University of Arizona saw two players get picked during the first round of the NBA Draft at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday, June 23.<\/p>\n

First, standout Brayden Burries<\/b><\/u><\/i> was drafted 10th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks. He was projected to be a top 12 lottery pick in the draft, which runs through Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Burries is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound guard from California. He averaged 16.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in his first and only season in Tucson.<\/p>\n

He was a big reason the Wildcats had a long run in the NCAA tournament before losing to eventual champion Michigan in the Final Four.<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/p>\n

And the NBA wasn\u2019t done with the Wildcats.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Mavericks selected Koa Peat<\/b><\/u><\/i> at No. 30, the final pick of the first round. But he was quickly traded and ended up with the Phoenix Suns.<\/p>\n

Peat, a 6-foot-7, 245-pound forward from Chandler, averaged 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game last season.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Jaden Bradley<\/b><\/u><\/i>, Tobe Awaka,<\/b><\/u><\/i> and Anthony Dell\u2019Orso<\/b><\/u><\/i> could hear their names called during the second round.<\/p>\n

Bradley is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound guard from New York. He averaged 13.3 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game during his senior season in Tucson.<\/p>\n

Awaka is a 6-foot-8, 255-pound forward from New York. He averaged 9.3 points and 9.1 rebounds per game as a senior for the Wildcats.<\/p>\n

Dell\u2019Orso is a 6-foot-6, 205-pound guard from Australia. He averaged 8.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game during his senior season in Tucson.<\/p>\n
