TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – More details are coming out about a fatal car fire near Kolb and Escalante in Tucson from late Friday, June 12.<\/p>\n

The Tucson Police Department said a person died in the fire, which started in the passenger area of the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The TPD said the driver was alone in the car when it was quickly engulfed in flames. The victim\u2019s next of kin has been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n

The TPD said that since there is nothing suspicious or criminal, the department is not releasing the victim\u2019s name. 13 News has requested the autopsy and toxicology reports.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Up Tucson?<\/b><\/u><\/i> and others<\/b><\/u><\/i> posted disturbing videos from the scene. In at least one of those videos, you can hear the car horn going off before stopping. According to several posts, the victim was a man in his 20s who was wearing a blue hat.<\/p>\n

You can also see several people stopping to try to help by either getting the victim out of the vehicle or calling 911.<\/p>\n
