TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Today is the first day of Monsoon 2026 and Mother Nature got the memo. <\/p>\n

Early morning thundershowers paid a quick visit before giving way to a lull across all of southern Arizona as we reach noon. The midday sun will help fuel afternoon and evening thundershowers. Although models hint Tucson might be missed. Temps near 102.<\/p>\n

More of the same expected through the week. The best shots of rain for Tucson look to be Wednesday and Thursday. But isolated thundershowers are possible all week. Highs will settle around 100.<\/p>\n

Might see weekend winds over the weekend and rain chances will be suppressed in response.<\/p>\n

Tonight – <\/b>A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 76. West northwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.<\/p>\n

Tuesday – <\/b>Sunny and hot, with a high near 105. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.<\/p>\n
