{"id":2041,"date":"2026-06-13T22:03:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-13T22:03:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=2041"},"modified":"2026-06-13T22:03:34","modified_gmt":"2026-06-13T22:03:34","slug":"x-men-star-tyler-mane-announces-rare-breast-cancer-diagnosis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=2041","title":{"rendered":"\u2018X-Men\u2019 star Tyler Mane announces rare breast cancer diagnosis"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<section>\n<p>(Gray News) &#8211; Actor and retired wrestler Tyler Mane revealed he has breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=2039\">Couple indicted in string of retail thefts at home improvement stores in Arizona<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mane, known for his role as Sabretooth in the X-Men franchise, announced his diagnosis in a video on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have some bad news: I start chemo today,\u201d the actor said at the beginning of the video. \u201cOne in 750 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and I\u2019m one of them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the video\u2019s caption, Mane said that he initially wanted to keep his diagnosis a secret because he found it \u201ckind of embarrassing.\u201d He then said he discovered that because it\u2019s rarely talked about, men are likely to be diagnosed in an advanced stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause it\u2019s rarely talked about, it\u2019s usually found in later stages and has the worst outcomes,\u201d Mane said. \u201cI want to change that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=2037\">U.S. Marshals arrest murder suspect wanted in North Las Vegas after search in New York<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mane said that even his doctors initially dismissed the possibility, and it was only because his wife pushed him to get the lump removed that he received his diagnosis early.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one in every 100 breast cancers diagnosed is found in a man.<\/p>\n<p>Several factors can raise the risk of a man getting breast cancer, such as genetic mutations, family history of breast cancer and age.
