{"id":1567,"date":"2026-06-05T17:33:18","date_gmt":"2026-06-05T17:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=1567"},"modified":"2026-06-05T17:33:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T17:33:18","slug":"18-year-old-accused-of-leading-troopers-on-pursuit-through-mesa-tempe-and-phoenix","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=1567","title":{"rendered":"18-year-old accused of leading troopers on pursuit through Mesa, Tempe and Phoenix"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<section>\n<p><b>PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 An 18-year-old driver was arrested Sunday night after authorities say he led troopers and police on a high-speed pursuit through Mesa, Tempe and Phoenix.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/tucsonmovingreport.com\/?p=1565\">In public letter, Ukraine\u2019s Zelenskyy calls on Putin for direct negotiations in a neutral country<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Usiel Polvadera-Angeles was arrested on suspicion of unlawful flight, reckless driving, criminal speeding and endangerment after the pursuit, which started on Loop 101 near U.S. 60. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a trooper spotted a dark Ford Mustang speeding at more than 125 mph on Loop 101 near U.S. 60 in Mesa.<\/p>\n<p>The Mustang continued onto U.S. 60 before eventually exiting the freeway. Phoenix police\u2019s helicopter, \u201cFirebird,\u201d tracked the vehicle from above near 46th Street and Roeser Road in south Phoenix.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said Polvadera-Angeles continued driving recklessly through city streets before reaching the area of 24th Street and Roeser Road.
