TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Crews responded to a new wildfire in Santa Cruz County near the Arizona-Mexico border late Wednesday, June 3.<\/p>\n

The Coronado National Forest said the Benton Fire began Wednesday afternoon and was around 50 acres with zero containment as of 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

The fire is near Kino Spring and in the Patagonia Mountains.<\/p>\n

The CNF said air and land crews from the United States and Mexico responded to battle the blaze.<\/p>\n

There are no structures at risk, no evacuations, and the cause is under investigation.<\/p>\n

The CNF said the area is under Temporary Flight Restrictions and that anyone who violates it could face criminal charges and a fine of up to $25,000.<\/p>\n
