TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A suspect has been accused of stabbing a man in the back several times in a police station parking lot during a road-rage incident in Tucson on Nov. 20, 2025.

The Tucson Police Department confirmed 59-year-old Jeffry Alan Baldauf was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault. On April 23, Baldauf pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to court documents, Baldauf and the victim were involved in a road-rage incident. The victim then drove to the parking lot of the main TPD station located at 270 South Stone Avenue.

That is when Baldauf allegedly confronted the victim and stabbed him in the back several times. The victim, who suffered a punctured vertebrae, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Baldauf allegedly fled the scene and was tracked down and arrested at a home in the 3200 block of East Columbia.

Baldauf will face sentencing on Friday, May 22.
