TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – About a 48 hour window from sunrise today through Friday morning, there are a few spots of showers. Late thunderstorms to develop for Tucson, although coverage will vary. The Euro model gives Tucson about a quarter of an inch of rain during this window.

Generally dry over the weekend then more action early next week. So many things up in the air, but models are now pushing tropical system Polo across Baja California and into the Sonoran Desert in Mexico. Moisture pushed up into Southern Arizona. The models are already responding giving us up to two inches of rain by midweek. While there are discrepancies with the short term model runs, there is some agreement long range. Early next week will be a period to watch as we close Monsoon ’26.
Temps on our 7-day are in the 90’s through the period, close to averages, warm this weekend.
