TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office responded to a hiker rescue in the Hunter Canyon area the morning of Sept. 23.

Crews arrived at the scene at approximately 9:30 a.m. and found a hiker experiencing an allergic reaction to a bee sting.
CCSO Search and Rescue paramedics reached the hiker and began medical care. Responders then carried him out in a rigid rescue stretcher.

The hiker was transported to the hospital for further care.
