(Gray News) — Patrick Clancy is expecting his first child with his new wife.
The couple announced on “60 Minutes” that they planned to start a family together.

In a follow-up interview, “60 Minutes” reporter Ross Douthat confirmed to “CBS Mornings” that the couple is already expecting a child.
The news comes after a mistrial was declared in the Massachusetts murder case against Clancy’s ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy, for killing their three children.

In his interview with “60 Minutes,” Patrick Clancy discussed his grief and addressed social media conspiracy theories linking him to the deaths. His new wife, fertility doctor Rachel Danis, also joined him.
Earlier this month, 11 of 12 jurors were ready to clear Lindsay of criminal responsibility in the 2023 deaths, believing she suffered from postpartum psychosis. But a lone juror sided with prosecutors, who had argued that Clancy knew what she was doing. The deadlock forced a judge to declare a mistrial on Sept. 4.

Prosecutors have not decided whether to retry the case.
