PHOENIX (AZFamily) — One person is fighting for their life after being shot during a domestic dispute in Phoenix on Tuesday, according to officials with the city’s police department.

Officers were called to a home near 19th Avenue and Camelback Road at 2:30 p.m. for reports of a domestic dispute. Officials learned that one person involved had been shot.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. The other person has been detained, and there is no threat to the community.
