TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The former Davis-Monthan airman accused of offering to pay to rape a young child and who was caught with child sexual abuse material has reached a plea deal.

Karl Alexander Streets was in court on Friday, Aug. 28, and pleaded to two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and solicitation of sexual conduct. He had been indicted on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
The 37-year-old Streets will be held without bond until sentencing, which has been scheduled for 9 a.m. Oct. 15.
Streets was arrested on April 20, 2026, following a year-long investigation.
According to the interim complaint, a detective with the Tucson Police Department was working undercover in 2024 and posted “Daddy daughter date (6)” on the online app Whisper.
She received a response from Streets, and they moved to a different platform.
Streets and the undercover detective arranged to meet, and he agreed to pay the woman to rape a small child. Two dates were arranged, but Streets cancelled last-minute both times.
Two of Streets’ cell phones were seized, and they contained graphic images of child sex abuse, so another search warrant was approved. Thousands of additional images and videos were found.
At the time of Streets’ arrest, 13 News reached out to Davis-Monthan for a comment.

“Officials at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base are aware of the arrest of an airman assigned to the installation. The matter is currently a joint investigation between the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the Tucson Police Department. Due to the ongoing investigation, no additional information will be released at this time.
At least three other airmen, or former airmen, have been arrested this year on felony charges.
The arrestees include a previously convicted sex offender, a couple accused of stealing millions from taxpayers, and another accused in a horrific child abuse case.
