(Gray News) — Vine is making a comeback — well, sort of.
Twitter, now known as X, shut down Vine in 2017.
But Vine’s concept of a scrolling feed of six-second videos is back under a new name — Divine.

Though Divine is not formally affiliated with Vine, it is inspired by the original app.
Many original Vine videos were archived and have been republished on Divine. These old videos are marked with a special badge that says “archived.”
As of Wednesday, Divine has imported about 170,000 archived Vine videos, according to an FAQ.

Divine said it won’t allow users to post AI-generated content, which is a big selling point for some.
Divine is available in the app store now.
Divine is not the only platform trying to tap into nostalgia. In a recent documentary, the owners of MySpace said they are looking to revive the site.
