SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A Scottsdale man is facing felony charges after police said they broke up his house of prostitution and found drug paraphernalia.

Court paperwork said detectives found out about the prostitution operation run by Brice McCallum through multiple online escort websites last December.
Undercover detectives messaged a woman on one of the ads, later discovered to be McCallum’s girlfriend, and arranged sexual acts for money. She said she does these services at her condo at 68th Street and Camelback Road. After the deal was made through texting, detectives stopped replying.
Police said detectives reviewed her profile on an adult website that had more than 40 reviews that described texting her, the vetting process, arranging appointments, traveling to the condo and paying money for sexual activities.
Investigators said online escort ads, MVD records, surveillance and background details in photos put McCallum and his girlfriend at the same condo on 68th Street, north of Camelback Road.
On Aug. 13, police said they pulled over a man who visited the condo and admitted that he paid the woman $300 for sex and that her boyfriend is McCallum.
On Tuesday, an undercover detective arranged a “date” for the girlfriend, and McCallum was arrested while leaving the condo, court documents said. He did not talk to officers and requested an attorney.
Detectives said they got a warrant and searched the condo. That’s when the girlfriend was taken into custody.
Court paperwork said she told police she has been dating McCallum for four years and that she makes about $9,000 a month during sex work. She also admitted to making an extra $1,500 doing three prostitution dates in Las Vegas during a trip, police said.

She said McCallum does not work; she pays the rent, any necessities and for McCallum’s drugs, including methamphetamine and fentanyl, according to police.
McCallum is aware of what his girlfriend does but does not force her to do sex work, police said.
McCallum was booked on seven felony counts linked to prostitution and one count of possessing drug paraphernalia.
Court paperwork said McCallum had a history of arrests for DUI, identity theft, forgery, drug possession and theft.
A judge set his bond at $100,000.
Police said they found text linking the girlfriend to a fentanyl supplier.
The girlfriend is cooperating with detectives as the investigation continues, police said.
