TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Tucson woman who spent time in prison for a homicide is facing new charges in a stabbing along with her brother.

According to the interim complaint, 36-year-old Jessica Dolores Rodriguez-Cordova and 33-year-old Martin Adrian Rodriguez-Cordova were arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault-serious injury.
Jessica Rodriguez-Cordova is being held on a $100,000 bond while Martin Adrian Rodriguez-Cordova’s bond has been set at $5,000.
Both are accused of assaulting and stabbing a woman in a wash in Tucson on July 17, 2026. The incident happened over a stolen scooter, according to court documents.
Jessica Dolores Rodriguez-Cordova, Joel C. Rodriguez, and Aaron Abel Heath were all convicted in the fatal shooting of Richard Jensen in 2016.
Jessica Dolores Rodriguez-Cordova pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 10 1/2 years in prison. She was released in January 2026.

Joel Rodriguez was identified as the trigger man, was convicted of first-degree murder, and got life in prison. He later died in custody.
Heath pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 11 years in prison. He was released to community supervision on May 20, 2026.
