TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Day two of the Flood Watch and another round of storms. The combination of a shifting weather pattern aloft and deep moisture residing across the region will result in scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms across southeast Arizona with the potential for heavy rain the next few days.

Although most of the storms will produce between a half and one inch of rain, the stronger storms are capable of producing locally heavier amounts between 1-3 inches.
Flood Watch will expire at 11 pm.
First Alert 7 Day Forecast:
Today – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 96. Calm wind becoming west northwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Tonight – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 74. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.
Wednesday – A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 8am and 11am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 93. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Wednesday Night – A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. Southwest wind around 6 mph becoming southeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
