TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Tucson man accused of severe child abuse is being held without bond after allegedly violating orders of protection and conditions of his release.

Bryan Logan Templin, 32, appeared in court late Monday, Aug. 10, on a charge of aggravated harassment.
During that hearing, the state asked Templin to be held without bond, and the judge agreed due to his criminal history. A no-bond hearing was set for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 14.
According to the defense, Templin owns D’Lux Auto Glass & Tint and has lived in Tucson his whole life.
According to the interim complaint, Templin went to his wife’s home on July 31, 2026, and knocked on her front door.
Templin and his wife are separated, and she and her children have active orders of protection against him in connection with an abuse case from last year.
Templin’s wife recorded video of him pacing back and forth while across the street from her home after knocking on her door. He was not supposed to be near his wife or children due to the protective orders and conditions of his release.
According to court documents, Templin put one of his two teen children in a chokehold during an argument on April 16, 2025.
The victim allegedly collapsed at school the following week and was transported to a hospital. Investigators said that doctors wanted to keep the victim overnight, but Templin refused and demanded an “immediate discharge.” Templin also allegedly didn’t tell doctors about the strangulation.

In August 2025, Templin allegedly slapped one of the teens in the ear and punched the other in the thigh.
For those incidents, he was charged with three counts of child abuse, aggravated assault strangulation, and aggravated assault. 13 News could not access all the court documents in this case, but we confirmed he was released pending trial.
Templin’s wife said she did not report the abuse right away because she feared Templin due to his past abuse of her, and was worried “it would escalate or be even worse for the children.” She also told investigators that she didn’t feel safe in reporting it until she was able to get her own home, which happened thanks to help from EMERGE and her family.
Templin was previously convicted of aggravated domestic violence in 2014. Several other charges, including aggravated harassment and violation of protective orders, were dismissed. He was sentenced to probation. He was also convicted of receiving earnings of a prostitute in 2015.
His previous arrests include violating conditions of release in 2013, disorderly conduct-fighting in 2022, and failure to appear in 2023.
